Rarey-boxes are a kind of portable cabinet of curiosity. Clare and I wanted to tell the intriguing story of the stained glass fragments from St Day Old Church which had been hidden away in boxes for nearly 10 years. Our St Day Rarey-Box showcases actual fragments of the glass as well as kaleidoscopic fragments of a film and a book with tells the story of the glass.

The Rarey-box was the inspiration behind the ‘Day-Light’ Project in St Day, and has featured at City of Lights and other processions, including the Day-Light Lantern Celebration.
