In Response was an exhibition of work by 6 artists inspired by and installed in the Old Church, St Day. The Old Church was abandoned in the 1950s due to its unstable structure and lack of funds for its repair. In recent years the roofless structure has been the site of a concert and impressive school play. In Response aimed to acknowledge the significance of this intriguing and culturally rich space at the heart of the local community. The exhibition formed part of the Mining Villages Festival 2011
